Building Bonds. Building Trust. Building Community.

Three people wearing white safety helmets and jeans are planting a tree or possibly digging in a field with shovels.

Bond Architects is a St. Louis-based architecture, interior design, and planning studio.

For more than three decades, we’ve partnered with clients across the education, civic, and cultural markets to create places that strengthen connections — schools that support student success, libraries that invite discovery, and gathering spaces that energize communities.

A young woman with long hair tied back in a ponytail is shopping for building materials. She is wearing a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves and blue jeans. She is standing by a large window, holding a sample of gray material against a display with other samples of stone and tile. The background includes a display rack with various samples, a basket filled with more samples, and industrial blinds covering the window.

Clients count on our team for clear communication, accountability, and the consistent follow-through that builds long-term trust.

How does Bond build trust with our clients?

Our process starts with listening: we ask the right questions, prioritize our clients’ goals and aspirations, and stay engaged throughout the design and construction process.

The Bond culture is built on empathy, collaboration, and authenticity. Clients benefit from our collective expertise, creative problem-solving, and shared commitment to delivering projects that achieve their full potential.

Bond Architects opened its doors in March 1992 with a compelling premise: design solutions should be driven by a client’s vision rather than an architect’s ego.

Co-founders Art Bond and Matt Wolfe launched the firm from a basement, later moving to a modest space above a Clayton restaurant, which served as a convenient location for client meetings. From these humble beginnings, the firm was built on a foundation of collaboration, transparency, design excellence, and unmatched client service.
