Andrea Giovando

NCIDQ

PRINCIPAL , SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

‍ Andrea's approach to interior design is driven by a core conviction: the spaces she designs should embody a client's values, culture, and aspirations.

Whether she's overseeing a large-scale interior environment or a modest renovation, Andrea actively listens and guides her clients toward design solutions that reflect their priorities rather than hers.

Since joining Bond in 2021 as the firm’s first interior design principal, she has instilled this client-centered philosophy as a guiding principle for her team’s work.

‍ A skilled artist and painter, Andrea discovered interior and environmental design while pursuing a fine arts degree at Illinois State University. With a career that spans both boutique studios and larger firms, she brings an artist's eye and a practical, problem-solving sensibility to every project.

Keenly observant, Andrea processes information best through sight and sound, often forgoing traditional notetaking to stay fully present in client conversations.

Outside the office, family life takes center stage. Andrea and her husband live on 13 acres in Illinois, alongside their two kids and dogs. Active in her local community and deeply connected to her Armenian heritage, she enjoys boating and other outdoor activities.
