Michelle Wells

AIA, LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE

PRINCIPAL, LEAD ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Michelle’s fascination with the built environment took root during childhood visits to Disney World, where she marveled at the notion that someone had designed the attractions to shape how people felt while experiencing them. That insight continues to guide every project she leads—from school buildings and municipal facilities to adaptive reuse assignments that breathe new life into underused spaces.

Clients value Michelle’s skill in translating their visions into welcoming, intuitive environments that function effectively for the people who use them.

Within the Bond partners group, Michelle leads the firm’s Human Resources efforts and focuses on creating a workplace where employees feel genuinely happy and fulfilled.

Her creative outlets extend far beyond architecture; she has performed in nearly 30 musical theater productions and is a jewelry designer specializing in sculptural wire-wrapping.

A proud St. Louisan, Michelle still lives in the same South City neighborhood where she grew up. She met her husband, Gary, through the St. Gabriel Archangel Players, a community theater organization that has become a family tradition for the couple and their daughters, Emma and Genevieve. On summer evenings, you’ll likely find them walking through their neighborhood or heading toward Ted Drewes for a concrete.
