PRINCIPAL , PROJECT MANAGER
Erik is a solutions-oriented project manager who specializes in school renovation projects. Clients rely on his ability to align diverse stakeholders, anticipate real-world constraints, and keep complex projects moving forward with clarity and momentum.
A trusted authority in school safety and procedural planning, Erik helps school districts implement progressive security measures while maintaining a welcoming, enriching learning environment. His practical approach to safety emphasizes cost-effective solutions and smart operational procedures rather than costly physical upgrades.
Colleagues describe Erik as “steady”—with a calm, collaborative style that builds consensus without ego and keeps teams aligned. He values transparent communication and enjoys shepherding projects from the first client conversation to construction closeout.
Growing up in St. Charles County, Erik began his architectural career in residential design before shifting to commercial and education work. He first joined Bond in 2009 and returned as a boomerang employee in 2015, compelled by the firm’s collaborative culture.
Erik and his wife, Julia, live in Richmond Heights with their four kids, four dogs, and two chinchillas. In his spare time, he likes to fish; play and coach recreational basketball; and shuttle his kids to sports activities.
