Maplewood Richmond Heights School District knows that a child must be well-nourished to be able to learn effectively. To support the district in keeping their kids healthy and focused, our team helped with kitchen and servery renovations at their Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, and Middle / High School.
Efficient, cost-effective design
Our design team collaborated closely with district Nutrition Services staff, walking through the kitchens together to document staff's observations and recommendations. We audited all existing equipment, helping the district make informed decisions on what to keep and what to replace.
This qualitative data was used as the basis of design for the improved kitchens. Reoriented layouts improve workflow, while new flooring enhances durability and cleanability.
Improved dining experience
In addition to the kitchens, our team assisted the district with small cafeteria upgrades. New servery equipment, lighting, and furniture improve students' dining experience.
