Groundbreaking for Crestwood Community Center

Together with the City of Crestwood, NAVIGATE Building Solutions, and Lawlor Corporation, Bond Architects celebrated the kick-off of construction for the new Crestwood Community Center on Friday, May 23, 2025. The Mayor of Crestwood, along with several representatives from City administration and the Parks and Recreation department, were present at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Funded by Proposition A, which passed in April 2024, the new 42,000 SF Community Center will offer expanded athletics, fitness, and recreational opportunities to Crestwood residents.

Features include

  • Gym with a raised walking/running track

  • Weight rooms

  • Studios for dance, yoga, and fitness programs

  • Multipurpose rooms for events and parties

Construction is estimated to be completed in late 2026. The new Community Center will be built adjacent to the existing Community Center building. After construction is complete, the next phase will be partially demolishing the previous Community Center and converting it into a Pickleball / Family Games complex.
