Red Barn Receives Award for Preservation

Missouri Preservation presented the Red Barn with a Preserve Missouri Award at its annual Honor Awards. Renovated by Bond Architects for the City of Festus, the Red Barn is a 1930s dairy barn transformed into a multipurpose events venue. The entire Owner, Architect and Contractor team — the City of Festus, Bond Architects, and Hankins Construction — received accolades at the Missouri Preservation 2025 Honor Awards in Jefferson City last week. The Red Barn’s story can be seen on Missouri Preservation’s website: 2025 Honor Awards – Missouri Preservation.

Missouri Preservation is Missouri’s only statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and coordinating historic preservation activities throughout the State.
