Bond Architects is currently working with the School District of Washington to design a new 86,000 square foot Elementary School. The new school will feature 27 classrooms for grade levels kindergarten through sixth, including three grade level appropriate STEM labs. The building will feature grade level wings, with a separate wing dedicated for special education needs. The predominantly glass corner of the media center/makerspace overlooks the valley and Highway 100 below. The new school will also have an ICC 500 storm shelter and other safety and security features.

Our team is also designing safety and security upgrades for all 10 buildings within the district. Secure vestibules will be incorporated into every building at the primary visitor entrance. Several schools will require relocation of the administrative office to be adjacent to the vestibule, and two schools will require an addition.
