Miriam provides full and part-time educational programs for students with complex learning disabilities, partnering with many local public school districts. Bond Architects recently completed the construction phase of a 12,391 SF addition and 14,000 SF renovation of the existing Miriam School. The renovation and addition were part of the 2014 Master Plan that Bond Architects conducted. The master plan looked at current and projected needs of the campus programs, which include additional shared spaces for therapy, testing and multipurpose use, as well as a new wing for Middle School students providing larger classrooms and lockers. The new Miriam School addition contains an 800 square foot storm shelter/safe room that can hold 140 occupants.
