Bond Architects conducted a facility assessment of the existing 20-year-old building while also creating schematic design options for a possible 10,000 SF expansion or new 13,000 SF building. This assessment, and initial design conducted by our team of architects and engineers, studied the site, building structure, accessibility, building systems and interior spaces.

The results determined that a new 13,000 SF building is needed. Once a direction is determined through a new master plan, we will create renderings to assist with an Illinois Library Grant application, as well as private and corporate fundraising. When funding is achieved, we will proceed with construction documents.
