Bond Architects is currently conducting a facility assessment of the existing 3,000 SF 20-year-old building to create a master plan that will accommodate the library for the next 30 years. This assessment, conducted by our team of architects and engineers, will study the site, building structure, accessibility, building systems and interior spaces.
The results will determine if the existing building can be expanded to the desired 13,000 SF or if a new building will need to be constructed to allow more space for programming and collections. Once a direction is determined, we will create schematic design documents and renderings to assist with an Illinois Library Grant application, as well as private and corporate fundraising.
